Why There is No Such Thing as a Stupid Question

At Mastercard many people, at all levels, sometimes do not ask questions which are obvious. Why? Because they feel that it’s a stupid question that either they should know or that someone has already thought of.  Sometimes it can even be because they feel stupid that they have to ask, questioning their own understanding and competence.

This can happen in any situation, by product, by customer, by solution etc. I am going to talk about why a question is never stupid and why at Mastercard, asking stupid questions leads to innovation and excellence.
